Are the thermometers of high quality, or would someone recommend another one for me.

Also, I am ordering a 1400, with Cart, Cover, Matt, and Thermometer, anything else I need to get started. I am a rookie and will just be getting started. Thanks

Scp0305...I recommend the Mavrick ET- 732...it is the most improved. It has extended range...high temp probes...and fits through the top hole easily...one probe for meat and one for internal temp...I love this thing for the 1400...about $60...well worth it!!!!
