Learned a lesson yesterday smoking wings that were previously cooked.

I turned on the smoker to 250* and placed the wings into the smoker for 45 minutes with one of the hickory blocks that came with the unit. The smoke was so strong you could hardly eat them.

Next time I will sprinkle just a few wood chips, I think that would be better.

I can't remember if Scott told me or it was in the manual. The wood blocks are just for seasoning the unit. I'm sorry you ruined your wings. I was at Coco Beach last fall and a place there smoked the wings and put them in the freezer. When he was ready to use them they deep fried them. They were awesome, the skin was crispy and great smoke flavor.

Try just 2 to 3 oz of wood chips next time. Good luck!!
