I was cooking something on my smoker this weekend and placed a dozen sliced mushrooms on the grill with the meat---after about 2 hours at 220--I took the portabella's out and left the meat in-----they tasted wonderful----all I did was put a little olive oil on them and season them with tony's---you would have sworn you were eating strips of beef

They're great between a bun, too.
