View Full Version : simple smoked meatloaf

2 pounds 80 - 20 ground beef
2 eggs
3/4 cup Vigo Italian bread crumbs with Romano cheese
3/4 cup water
1 packet Lipton Beefy onion soup mix

mix ingredients and form into loaf
place on small shallow pan i used a foil broiler pan from Publix 3 for $2.99
place on rack in smoker insert thermometer into center of loaf
I used 1/4 cup of hickory wood chips, my scale has not arrived yet so i don't have ounce measurements
set temperature of smoker , i have the 1400, to 250
set thermometer temp to 165 it took mine about 3 and half hours to get there.
This turned out great modify ingredients to your taste and enjoy.
