can anyone tell me how much broth to inject in a brisket and i know it depends on the size of the brisket lol.i would like to try it that way because mine keep coming out dry, i do every thing the way i read it 225 or so 170 then wrap 192 out and rest. i have cali. the maverick 732 and the st its all ok.it seems they are over cooked or is that because there dryed out i am at 6100 in altitude i know that makes a difference longer cook times. a 10 to 12 lb brisket seems to take 19 hrs to get to 192 i have done 4 now 2 wrapped to not wrapped no difference.:(

Nelson...are you injecting from the top or the side? I inject from the side first about 1in apart...then the top at 1in intervals to make sure it is injected all over and the middle, it should have injection running all over the meat. Just me!!!

I like to rub heavily after injecting to help plug up the injection holes......
