    Default Mothers Day Trio

    Putting the Tex to work on Mothers Day

    First up Stuffed jalapeņos. Stuffed with cream cheese and bacon, cheddar cheese and bacon and cream cheese with andouille sausage.



    Next up smoked bologna. Rubbed with yellow mustard and pepper and garlic rub applied.



    And last baked beans.



    And the magic begins.

    How does the smoked bologna turn out? Love baked beans in the smoker.

    Inquirin' minds want to know... Also, I'm curious about the andouille sausage jalepanos....

    Smoked Bologna turned out great. I slicked it on the meat slicer. Only problem was.. I should have bought a bigger chunk It didn't last very long. Smoked bologna, Swiss cheese and spicy mustard.

    Bologna turned out great. Can't wait to smoke some more. The andouille jalapeņos were outstanding. Great combination with the cream cheese. My mother in law who would never eat a stuffed jalapeņo tried one and ended up going back for more.

    Smoked Bologna...who'da thunk it? Gotta try this. Gota try the andouille sausage jalapenos as well. Thanks!!!

    First cook for the weekend is in. 4 pork fatties as a garnish for the Bloody Mary bar tomorrow, and a smoked picnic ham ala Sodaking for tomorrow's group breakfast, omelettes in a bag.

    Tomorrow we start the KCBS pork loins for the Sunday potluck.
