Default Please Resize Photos! We love your photos!!

    Hello,
We love seeing your smokin photos!

We just updated to a new server so we can accommodate all these great smokin posts and pix!

In the future please resize your pictures smaller.

Use an image editor like MS Paint.
    Very easy.
    Right click photo
    open with Paint
    click resize
Under percentage try 50% or smaller
    save to your desktop
Then post on our SmokinTex Forums!
Thanks so much and happy smokin!

Is it a problem where I host them on photobucket rather than on here? I can make 'em tiny I guess, but it takes me a while.

    Hello ia_james,
You can certainly use photobucket. But other memebers have used it and for some reason-cancellation of photobucket account or deleting of pix-these pix disappear from the forum.
Resized posted pix are permanent to the forum.
Thanks so much for your posts and pix!

I guess I'm technically challenged, Have used photobucket, but would prefer to post direct. Ok, now I have found icon to insert photo. Tried it and photo was sideways, so I guess all I need help on now is how to rotate.

For anyone else that has had this lack of knowledge the icon 3rd from the right on the menu bar is the "insert image" button.

This is a great program. Resize to 1280x1024 (one of the default size settings) should be a decent resolution for most to view.

Any tips for posting photo's from an IOS device or MacBook? When posting to the forum and attaching the pictures from the photo app, they appear really small on the site. When posting using PhotoBucket they look great. But as you have stated when they are deleted from PhotoBucket they are also deleted from the forum.
    Thanks..
