Thread: Extending the Flue

    Default Extending the Flue

Just seasoned by Model 1400 and was wondering: If I wanted to do an overnight smoke but didnt want to keep the smoker outside. Can I

extend the flue to vent it to the outside ? Does this cause any kind of issue ? ( Note: I will be using the smoker in a warehouse/garage and

    not in a residential home)

    Thanks

I believe food truck owners do vent the stack to the outside of the truck, so I don't know why not. In a warehouse, if you're able to start the smoke outside while you're there and then bring it in before you leave, you may be able to most of the initial smoke outdoors and not need a vent.
I believe in catch and release fishing. I don't want to EAT 'em all, I just want to GREET 'em all!
