    Default All purpose rub

Folks, here's a simple, all purpose recipe for a rub I've used long before I got my 1400. I've also used it for grilling all meats. baking in the oven, and frying in a skillet. Not everyone like hot peppers and other spicey additives like cumin. I first came up with this several years ago while grilling ribeye steak sandwiches at a fundraiser for the local high school boys basketball team. Cheap, with the ingredients easy to find.

2 4oz shakers of Garlic Salt
1 4oz shaker of ground Black Pepper

Mix them all up, and put back in the three shakers, ready to use.

I use the garlic salt from ALDI's because it has parsley flakes and other flavors in it. Only $1.19 a shaker. The ground pepper I get at the Dollar Tree for only a buck! If I want to add a little hot pepper, sugars, or other spices, I just sprinkle them on and rub it all in.
