    Default Vent

    I was thinking I could rig up a vent pipe to use mi smoker in mi mud room anyone have in put on this, shore would be nice to be able to smoke in bad weather anyone have any in put on this

    Ricksp65....This was addressed on another site but can't remmember where.

    I have mine under a covered area...I use a small fan to expell the smoke away from the ceiling area.

    One would think you could use maybe a flexible hose and duct tape it around the top of the smoker and run it out a window or whatever.

    Don't know...might try it just for the hellofit.

    Yeah I have a length of 3” aluminum flex pipe, and if the smoke doesn’t leak out the door to much it would work I know some of these smokers are made to be vented to the out side wan used in a commercial kitchen

    I have been smoking outside in rain/sleet/snow these past three weeks in eastern PA, no problems at all. These smokers rock.

    Yes, I use my smoker under a cover patio and use a small fan also. I don't know why you couldn't vent the smoker outside. As far opening the dorr you shouldn't have too much if you use a temperature probe.
