I have a friend who is allergic to Garlic. No I do not think he's a vampire.
So I have adapted my Brisket rub to this.
- Kosher Salt
- Ground Black Pepper
- Cracked Black Pepper
- Paprika
That's it. A simple basic rub that allow the flavor of the meat to shine.
My Briskets are now more in demand by friends and family than ever.
I am cooling 4-8 Trimmed briskets per week. It makes good finger food, and sliced & chopped Brisket sandwiches.
And now I shred it to make brisket taco's.

I may have to get another SmokinTex 1400....
When I do I know where to go.
I now purchase the the Brisket Flats by the case at my local warehouse big box store. But I am always out looking for the best price.
