Have been having some issues recently with my Mavrick ET-732. So since I'm a big Apple fan, I decided to purchase one of the iGrill thermometers. Was wondering if anybody on the forum has used one? I did contact the folks at mavrick today and I need to send the meat probe back to them. They said they would send out a replacement once they receive the defective one. Hope to have the iGrill by the weekend so I can give it a try.

The meat probe was giving all sorts of incorrect tempature readings. As for the iGrill it's a remote thermometer that comments by blue tooth to your iPad, iPod, iPhone. Do a google on it to get the details.

BillyBob, While I'm technologically challenged as well, the idea of receiving a call from my 1400 does have some appeal, since the smoker is calling to tell you dinner's ready. AND it beats the heck out of a salesman calling at dinnertime.

I recently had issues with my meat probe on my Maverick, too. I thought I was the problem!

I guess I'll be calling the peeps @ Maverick, along with googling the iGrill.

DReeves - Shipped the defective probe out today. Anxious to see what kind of turn around time I get. My iGrill is scheduled to be delivered on Monday. I was hoping to have it for the weekend . Now I'll have to wait 2 weeks before I can use it. Leaving for vacation early next week. Guess I'll be having smoker withdraw.

how did the igrill end up working, i have read mixed reviews,just curious.

The iGrill works great. I have not used my Maverick since purchasing the iGrill.
