I took the easy way out
Since it was just the wife and I, I pulled a pack of frozen, vacuum sealed pulled pork and tossed it in boiling water for a spell while I toasted some small pull apart buns and made slaw.
Did us some pulled pork sliders with slaw and some good garlic pickles.
With smaller bites, we kept from choking, unlike Denver.....
I believe in catch and release fishing. I don't want to EAT 'em all, I just want to GREET 'em all!

At first I was in shock that you used the words "boiling water" and "pork" in the same sentence.... then I re-read your statement, and realized my mistake.
I love sliders!
As for Denver, turns out they were stuck at the airport and never showed up
